Twelve for Cadancelypso finals

After a heavily contested audition lasting six hours, the five judges with the task of selecting the finalist found it difficult to select ten. Consequently, they picked 12 finalist for the 2017 Cadancelypso Show, carded for the Pottersville Savannah on November 2nd, 2017.

The artistes selected from the in-house audition held at the NCCU LTD on July 15, 2017, to compete in the 6th Edition of the Cadancelypso Show are:

Jules (Winners Never Give Up); Desmond Lawrence (Doubout); Shirley Charles (Need to Survive); Carsim Birmingham (La vi dou); Jasta Williams (Lape); Ellis Serrant (An Kay La); Rhamadine Phillip (Lavi Adilte); Gael Registe (What you really want); Shemica Sorhaindo (You are the one); Charles Leatham (Dominique I Love you); Ayeola George (Bon Nouvel).

Cadancelypso King Anton Joseph will be defending his crown.
