Veterans Win Championship for Sponsor
Delnagis Veterans football took to heart the challenge by Delnagis representative Catherine Faustin that the team should go out and win silverware after many years of struggles in the LIME Harlem Football League. The team leaders went out and recruited a number of national and former national players into their ranks and just like that they are the champions of the 2013 LIME Harlem League, the sixth change of champions in the league.
Faustin threw down the gauntlet to her team at the opening of the league which commenced with the Delnagis Soccermania. Delnagis Veterans got two goals from Kurlson Benjamin on either side of the interval with Delbert Hazel getting Purple City's goal in between. Veterans' Lex Mility was man of the match and eighth Caribbean Construction Ltd/Flash Muzikland Player of the Week. Kurlson Benjamin was Player of Week #7.
