GALLE, Sri Lanka – West Indies will look to post a big second innings score to stay in contention in the first Test match against Sri Lanka at the Galle International Stadium.

Scores: Sri Lanka 484; West Indies 251 and 67-2.

The Windies surrendered a first innings lead of 233 and were asked to follow-on on the third day. They need another 166 to make Sri Lanka bat again.

Left-hander Darren Bravo topscored with a polished 50 which included eight fours and a six in the first innings.

In the second innings Bravo again played with class and will resume the fourth day on 20 not out.

Sri Lanka's bowling was led by left-arm spinner Rangana Herath, who took 6-68 off 33 overs.

Play will start Saturday at 10am (12:30am Eastern Caribbean Time/11:30pm Thursday Jamaica Time).
