Dominica wins prestigious media award

Roseau, Dominica - (March 17, 2014) Dominica has won the prestigious Golden City Gate Award at the ITB Berlin, the world's leading tourism fair, for the second time.

The video features the rich health and wellness aspects Dominica offers highlighting the island use of natural resources to heal the aches and pains of the hustle and bustle of everyday living. The award was received at the ITB Cinema by Dominica's Director of Tourism and CEO of Discover Dominica Authority Mr. Colin Piper, and the German Representatives - Mrs. Kirsten Boucard, Managing Director of Tropical Consult who is representing Dominica in the German speaking markets and Scandinavia, and Mrs. Patricia Massó, Director of Communication Tropical Consult.

The Tourism Media Award "The Golden City Gate" is an annual competition since 2001 at the ITB Berlin where outstanding tourism-related productions are awarded.
