Almost everybody agrees that a house is not a home but, undoubtedly, the quality of furniture within a home makes the house the pride of the owners.

Last Wednesday Courts Dominica gave home owners in Dominica an opportunity to transform the living room in their houses when Ashley Furniture Industries officially became part of Courts, Dominica.

"(This is) a partnership for providing you with a variety of home furnishings and accessories for class, for sophistication, for style and uniqueness," said Mahalia Cassell, the Branch Manager of Courts Roseau at the official launch of the Ashley Gallery.

Added Connie Matthew, the Senior Manager of Courts Dominica: "In addition to the exclusive range of lounge, dining and bedroom pieces, the gallery also features exquisite accessories especially selected by the design experts at Ashley to complement the furniture range. There's no need to go elsewhere."

Trade, Industry and Employment Minister, Dr. Collin McIntyre, who cut the ribbon to the new gallery, said Courts is important to Dominica because it made it easy for ordinary Dominicans to furnish their homes.

"You are important to us in terms of the employment opportunities you have given Dominicans," he said. "You're such a large firm; in spite of what's happening globally you have been able to keep your doors open and you are well-stocked as well".
