Nineteen individual and three team awards sparked the Saturday 1st June Awards Nite in La Plaine, a fitting culmination to the exciting basketball season just completed. Six Teams participated in the DOMLEC- sponsored Southeast League, with the top four battling for honours in the Southeast Playoffs. For the last four months enthusiastic crowds have jammed the RMG Hardcourts to cheer on their Teams from La Plaine and Grand Fond.

The nineteen Individual Awards went to the following: Most Valuable Player -Curtley Blaize of Yellow Tape; High Scorer -Ridge Blaize of Uprising; Best Defensive--Shane George of Balltricks; Best Youth -Camron Corbette of Uprising; Most Disciplined Player--Jaylon Matthew; Consistent Refereeing-- Peter Augustine & Gabriel Jn Baptiste; Southeast All- Stars--Shane George (c); Curtley Blaize(F);Rodrick Blaize(F); Ridge Blaize(G); Marcus Cuffy(G) [Starting Five]; Sean Blaize; Allister Browne;Camron Corbette; Biko Williams; Dennison Joseph; Ivan Jn Baptiste; Harris St. Ville.

DOMLEC Representative Edison St. Jean addressed the fans and players calling for "focus and discipline in achieving objectives". Shane Eloi and Ron Green, Committee Reps, praised the Players, Referees and Fans for their enthusiastic support and commitment to high quality sportsmanship, while DOMLEC came in for considerable praise both as Sponsor and for technical ongoing support for the Hardcourt Lighting system.

The Awards Nite ended with an ALL –STAR GAME: Balltricks overhauling La Plaine All-Stars 53 -38.
