Tiffany is Miss Teen Dominica 2016

The Portsmouth Secondary School captured the Miss Teen Dominica 2016 title for a second consecutive year.

Tiffany Eloi, 15, outshone the five other contestants at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium Forecourt on January 31.

She captured the awards for Miss Photogenic, Best Costume, Best Evening Wear, Best in Evening Wear, Best Response to Question and Best Talent.

After the show Eloi told reporters that she feels "very excited and happy" after winning the title of Miss Teen Dominica 2016.

She noted that during her reign as Miss Teen Dominica she wants to encourage people to be aware of the dangers that are destroying youth.

"I am so proud and honoured to bring back the crown to my school," she said.

The first runner up was Tatyana Dangleben of the Convent High School. She received the awards for Best in Costume and Best Speech.

Second runner up went to Emelda Boston of the Dominica Grammar School, whilst Nadege Barber of the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School received the award for Miss Congeniality.

The pageant featured guests' performances from the junior and intermediate groups of the Waitukubuli Dance Theatre Company, Cassim Birmingham, Lucia Lander Dance Group, Charis D, Janae and Young Bull.

The pageant was organized by the Waitukubuli Dance Theatre Company.
