Dice, the King of all he embraces
Dice, the King of all he embraces

Dice is on a roll.

After winning his eighth Calypso King Crown at the 2016 Calypso Finals last week Saturday, Dennison "Dice" Joseph has won a rare double.

Davidson Victor of the Dominica Calypso Association announced today that Dice's "My DominicaTradeHouse.Com" was the winner of the Road March title i.e. the song played most during the Carnival jump-up days of Monday and Tuesday (8 & 9 February).

Here are the lyrics of MyDominicaTradeHouse. Com

First Verse:

I always wanted to be somebody

Somebody important in my country

When it came I got the opportunity

But with me chasing after money

Now my own people resenting me

My daily troubles over burden me

I am in too deep

But I cannot quit

Yes, my biggest blunder

From which I can't recover

Was my trip to Malaysia

And the internet scandal that was born there

You can find me on de Web

Lay your money down

Sooner done than say

You're a king of corruption

Chorus:

Women in Macau

Rich men in Sodom

Who can save me now?

From whom I have become, become

Mothers warn your children

Don't do what I have done

A man online selling his nation

My Dominica Trade House.com

Second Verse:

I control all de power of government

I dictate to de justice department

They 'fraid me

Down to the police commissioner

Even drug dealers move to my order

Pastors and priests

Are on my pay list

I dine with princes, barons and baroness

Corporate managers

I does boss dem fellas

Mamaguy de FBI

Sharpay de CIA

While de BNS in trouble

I'm protected by my senior counsel devil

Hospitals in de sky

Just one on de ground

He who goes there dies

I'm a king of corruption

Chorus:

Women in Macau

Rich men in Sodom

Who can save me now?

From whom I have become, become

Mothers warn your children

Don't do what I have done

A man online selling his nation

My Dominica Trade House.com

Third verse:

Come and see a country where their leader

Richer than the whole country

And come and be part of a society

Where law and crime exist in harmony

Crocked lawyers, citizenship sellers

Pedophiles, all on my website

Loyal to none, man, woman or nation

I'm a veteran of war

Against de good farmers

Doctors and teachers

I foresee de sun going down on me

Passport selling cheap

For citizenship

De baroness soon learn

Who's king of corruption

Chorus:

Women in Macau

Rich men in Sodom

Who can save me now?

From whom I have become, become

Mothers warn your children

Don't do what I have done

A man online selling his nation
