Six to Vie for Madam Wob Dwiyet Title

Six ladies are to vie for the Madam Wob Dwiyet title at a pageant to be held at the Arawak House of Culture on Thursday evening October 20, 2016.

The contestants are Huguette St.Hilaire of Goodwill, Stephanie Bellot Sorhaindo of Grand Bay, Theresa Honore of Portsmouth, Magdalene Joseph of Grand Bay, Theresa Anthony LaPinard and Claudette McIntyre of Trafalgar.

The Madam Wob Dwiyet Show is a very popular and highly entertaining event. The reigning Madam Wob Dwiyet Gweneth Lazare of Grand Fond will make her final walk and sash the winner at the pageant.

The show is presented by the Division of Culture and the National Cultural Council and begins at 8.00p.m.
