Kurt was a very kind person who gave generously with his whole heart. He also provided great advice and never gave up on a task until it was achieved. NS

Daddy, I keep thinking about you, and I remember our time spent together fondly. It hurts to think that you are not here anymore. On the day that I lost you, I lost a Father, a Friend and a Hero, whom I looked up to. I miss you Daddy. AM

I would get excited at the sound of your car coming up my driveway. I enjoyed our time spent on the beach and the extra barbeque chicken you left for me. I remember you listening to me recount my day on our drives home, and making me laugh. I remember that you came to my piano concert, and that you always told me "God always makes a way for us, "when I felt discouraged. I emulate your work ethic today. I am so proud to have had you as my dad. GM

From the first time I saw you, I knew you were a gift from the heavens, and I am honoured to have had the privilege of naming you. PM

Kurt, I am going to miss your great sense of humour. You always ensured that I was comfortable during my visits to Dominica, and you aimed to make me drink cocoa tea in the morning. You were a good-hearted person and you will be missed dearly. JJ
