Rampsy the goat didn't think it was possible for him to be kind to someone he didn't like. His mom told him he could if he tried but he just couldn't muster the will to do it. Every one teased him because of his oversized horns. They called him silly names like monster head and lumpy head and played tricks on him as well. Of course Bwa Agouti was his number one enemy.

So one day, Rampsy was out grazing on some leaves when it started to rain. At first it was gentle but then it began to pour real heavily so he decided to return home until the rain stopped.

However, while on his way, he heard the loudest sound ever- BOOM! He frightened. He looked through the trees to see what could possibly make such a noise and saw that the little stream to his left was now a full raging river and had thrown down a huge Flamboyant tree. But that was not the worst part. The worst part was that Bwa Agouti was in serious danger. He was in the river hanging onto to a branch attached to the tree for his dear life.

"Papamet, Bwa Agouti in trouble!" cried Rampsy.

Without a second thought, he ran towards the edge of the raging river, leaped onto the fallen tree trunk and carefully walked across until he stood opposite Bwa Agouti. Then he bent his knees and held out his horns for him to grab on too and took him safely on shore. What a courageous act on Rampsy the goat part!

From this day on, Rampsy realized that he was able to love his enemies. Of course, he and Bwa Agouti became very good friends.
