Tianjin Cathay Future Children's Art Troupe visits Dominica
For the first time, Dominicans will enjoy the fusion of the Chinese and Dominican cultures through children and dance. As part of their world tour the Tianjin Cathay Future Children's Art Troupe from China will be visiting Dominica from February 24-26, 2015.
The children will perform their traditional Chinese style dancing incorporating 12 children from the Dublanc Flamboyant Dancers who will perform two traditional Dominican dances. This joint performance by the children from both China and Dominica is expected to be exciting because it is the first time there are culture exchanges between the two countries at that level. The Chinese nationals hope that all Dominicans who love arts can enjoy the performance on February 25, 2015 at the Arawak House of Culture at 6:00 pm. The show is free.
Dominica will be their last destination of their World Tour which included the United Nations, the United States, Bahamas, Barbados and the Dominican Republic.
