Today Friday October 31, 2014 Roseau came alive with the sounds of drums and conch shells and all
sorts of music-making instruments; and the amazing colours and variety of the Wob Dwiyet. The National
Dress Parade was part of Dominica's month-long celebration of Independence. In 2014 Dominica is
observing its 36th anniversary of political independence from Great Britain.
